The majority of the above affirmations are taken from one of Jason Stephenson’s “I am” Affirmations videos, available on YouTube.
I found this video while in the most difficult period of my life. It was one of the resources that helped me climb out of the hole I was in.
As well as the affirmations being immensely positive, I found that the somewhat spiritual theme of ‘being part of a greater whole’ and ‘being one with all that is’, helped to give me a new, broader perspective on life – one focused on self-compassion, acceptance, and consciousness.
Thank you, Jason; for this and all of your other life-affirming content.

I find that this type of affirmation is perfect to use if you’re struggling with an overactive mind, negative thoughts, possessive thoughts, or anything of the like.
It has rhyme and flow, making it easy to remember and repeat, and the messages are perfect for helping you to concentrate on feelings of safety and positivity.
I found a similar affirmation to this (see below) and personalised it to cover the points that are most pertinent to me.
Happiness to help counter low mood and negative thoughts; health, because, well, that’s pretty important(!), safety, because that is a feeling I lack in stressful or testing situations; and being in the Now was from my learnings from Eckhart Tolle – being in the present moment has the power to take any stresses or troubles away.
I had the affirmation put onto a touch stone – a comfort to carry around and a good reminder of the words.

The aforementioned affirmation!
Affirmations can make a real difference. They have been proven to be successful in helping counteract low self-esteem, depression, and other mental health conditions.
Affirmations don’t have to be short; they can be whatever you want – or need them – to be.
This one is all about taking control of your life situation and creating foundations for a more positive future.

Another one that features in Jason Stephenson’s affirmations video (as above).
I find it incredibly powerful, not least because it charges so many emotions and feelings – wonder, faith, freedom, hope…
